ALLTech online learning modules

Thank you for your interest in ALLTech’s Online Learning Series. We appreciate that you have stopped by to learn about our program. As of October 1, 2007, we will no longer be offering our online learning modules. We hope to continue this service at another time. We apologize for any inconvenience and we welcome your comments, which can be submitted to Lisa Penney at lisasmith@alltech-tsi.org.

ALLTech offers a series of "anytime, anywhere" online learning modules related to assistive technology.

Our modules are designed for general and special educators, paraprofessionals, speech and language pathologists, physical and occupational therapists, students, parents, and individuals who want to learn more about specific types of assistive technology. Each module of the series has been developed by our skilled and experienced technology professionals.

Each learning module is delivered using ATutor, a Web-based Learning Content Management System. ATutor was selected by ALLTech because of its compliance with established Web accessibility specifications for users with disabilities (information available at www.atutor.ca). The content of each module is integrated with accessible images and hyperlinks to resources for deepening or supplementing one's knowledge and understanding.

Support for learners of our online modules is provided by trained and experienced ALLTech staff members, who can be reached via e-mail and in module discussion forums.

Upon confirmation of registration, learners have access to the selected module(s) for three weeks (per module).

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from The Spurwink Institute are available at no additional cost (1.5 CEU per module).
